The Cardinia Foundation Charity Dinner grows bigger and brighter and more successful every year raising over $160,000 for local charity work.
More than 450 guests pack the Cardinia Cultural Centre ready to open their hearts for this important cause.
The dinner is the main fundraiser for The Cardinia Foundation, and is vital to supporting the diverse charity work in the fields of the environment, the arts, gifts to local people in crisis, and to assist the work of other charity’s.
The funds for the donations are raised from the auction of a huge variety of donated auction items include bottles of Penfold’s Grange and Scotch Whiskey, Swiss watches, diamond jewelry, holidays, sporting memorabilia and mountain bikes.
Guests dine on a lavish five course meal and wines created from donated ingredients, enabling most of the ticket price to go to charity.
Foundation Chairman Brian Paynter is always impressed by the generosity of local business people.
“Its overwhelming to see the many thousands of dollars worth of goods and services donated, all with the goal of strengthening the Cardinia community” he said
