The Cardinia Foundation - make a real difference to local people

Latest Foundation grants help others to help

Grants from the Cardinia
Foundation assist non-profit
organisations in their efforts to
help less fortunate members of
the community.

A grant of up to $15,000 will
facilitate the purchase of a suitable vehicle to support the increasing activities of the 4Cs. Volunteers currently use their own vehicles for collecting and transporting goods and food for clients in the Shire.

The Pakenham-based 4Cs has been operating for more than 10 years and, as well as being a vital link of support to school and churches, is providing over 130 Cardinia Shire families with food and support every week.

Cardinia Foundation provided a
grant of $5,500 to the ommunity
Centre at Outlook for the completion of kitchen enovations
that will facilitate a range of
programs for people with
disabilities, kids after school cooking classes, and for carers and seniors cooking classes.

The Community Centre at Outlook provides a wide range of services to the local community; including accredited training, recreational and hobby programs, support groups, information referral, community networking and information
sharing. While the Community
Centre has specialist disability services, it is also a generic service for people of all ages and abilities.

Cardinia Foundation is proud to be associated with the Grosvenor and Andrews Foundations in providing this important facility for clients of Outlook.
